A Communic8 template consists of pre-created and re-usable content or design elements that can be used as a starting point when creating a campaign. The basic Communic8 install comes with many standard templates to help you get started. Or you can create your own company-branded templates that can then be utilised by publishing administrators on the platform. A template can contain various types of content and formatting:

  • Layout of elements

  • Styling and formatting of content

  • Content

    • Text

    • Viewable/Downloadable document(s)

    • Image(s)

    • Vidoe(s)

    • Sound file(s)

    • Survey(s)

    • Links

  • Share settings

    • Individuals

    • Groups

When a template is used as a starting point it provides several benefits:

  • It will usually contain proper company branding which adheres to your own guidelines. This helps to maintain brand consistency.

  • Most Communic8 clients organise their templates based on their usage. This helps to maintain message quality and consistency and saves the publisher time in terms of design. Some example template categories include:

    • Company Announcements

    • Newsletters

    • Board Governance

    • Change Management

    • Employee Engagement

    • etc.

  • A novice publisher can leverage professionally designed content so their communications are effective and look beautiful.

When a campaign is created from a template, Communic8 creates a copy of the template layout, content and design, which the publisher can then adjust to meet their specific needs. This way the original template remains intact and untouched. Our easy to use editor allows you to format and create your communications to meet the needs of your audience.

You can view the templates you own or that have been shared with you from the template menu.
